In these blog posts, I’ve mostly talked about PGT Industries and their PremierVue and WinGuard hurricane replacement windows. The fact is, we have relationships with many manufacturers with fine products that add to the security of your home when one of our famous Florida storms rolls along. We are proud of all the products we install and have ensured that each one is a great value and will offer you many years of protection. Here’s some information about each company.

PGT Industries: Located just a little south of us, PGT Industries knows the Florida building codes backwards and forwards. Their windows and doors are impact-, wind- and water-resistant and blend in to any decor. Their sliding glass doors are perfect for the many waterfront homes in Florida.

Neuma Doors: These fiberglass doors are the strongest thing on the market. They make doors for both front and patio entrances.

Both these manufacturers offer a variety of glass and frame colors and types and Low-E (low transmission of thermal energy).

Plastro: They make a great fiberglass entrance door that will stand up to our rain and wind. You can get them in smooth or textured fiberglass. When they are painted, it’s very likely that no one will be able to tell they are not wood.

Simonton: They’ve been making storm windows and doors for a long time. Their products meet all the current hurricane codes and all come with impact-resistant glass.

Hurricane Fabric: This company makes some excellent and affordable tough fabric window, door and opening covers. They are proven to greatly reduce the damage from severe storms. Some people place these coverings over alcove openings.

TPS: They make very economical clear or white plastic storm coverings for windows. Not everyone can afford to install new windows but they are concerned about having a permanent solution for storms. This is where TPS comes in.

Cloplay: This company focuses on garage doors that are both attractive and energy efficient. These quality doors keep out wind and water and help lower utility bills. And they offer remarkable designs that add beauty to your home.

ODL Doorglass: We were pleased to build a relationship with this company that manufactures many beautiful types of glass for doors. Decoratively engraved, clear or storm resistant, ODL Doorglass adds variety to your home. They even have one kind of door glass that encloses mini-blinds within the glass!

RSL Quality by Design: They also make superior door glass. Decorative doors and transoms, clear, tinted and Low-E, storm resistant – they have a beautiful selection of engraved, textured and frosted glass, mounted in a variety of decorative grills.

We build these relationships carefully, making sure that each manufacturer will fully support their products. We choose manufacturers that will get your order here quickly, too. We know that once you place your order, you don’t want to wait months for the windows to be installed.

We will continue to carefully add manufacturers as we find products that enhance your home while providing the kind of protection we know you need in this climate that can offer some severe surprises at times.
